Hello, my name is Lanze Langill. I am a multimedia programmer who has been in the Internet and Information Technology industry for over 5 years. I would like to make my skills and experience available to your company. My primary experience and skill set is with Adobe’s Dreamweaver and Director, but I have extensive experience in hand coding and dynamic web development using PHP, ASP and SQL. I also have a solid grasp of Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash and Fireworks.

I graduated from Selkirk College in Trail BC in the Spring of 2002 with a degree in Multimedia Production and Design. Immediately upon graduation, I was hired by a company in Kelowna BC to create and maintain multimedia content. I was the head of that department. That job grew to include videography, video editing, lighting, CD/DVD authoring, and audio production. Through this experience I developed the ability to assess the needs of the individual client.

Most recently, I was working for an Internet technical support call center. This has given me a unique insight into the dynamics of Internet issues, including the advantages and disadvantages of different browser technologies, and other Internet related platforms. I also have technical knowledge of corporate networking, including the use of static IPs and the set up of router and firewall technology.

Through my own endeavors, I have set up and maintained a Windows based internet server, that includes the use of PHP and SQL data basing. I have also set up a fully dynamic website for The Okanagan Gymnastics Centre in Kelowna BC. This site uses a Content management system that I designed for the site. It also uses CSS layout techniques.

I enjoy meeting new people, working with new teams and challenging myself with new technology. I am excited about the opportunities presented by being in the Canadian heartland of Information Technology.
